Welcome Groups are offered quarterly. We set the table and invite refugee women into a beautiful space of rest and renewal. Through creative activities, sharing tea and conversations we provide the opportunity for local women to meet our newcomers.

We collect basic hygiene and bathroom items for our new women. This is an easy way of saying “Welcome. We are so glad you are here!”.

As ladies come to know and trust us we will offer small healing groups. These will function very much like welcome groups but will include discussions around grief, wounded hearts, loss, and lament for those who are ready to share their stories.

Seasonally we may have special offerings. We seek ways to introduce our new friends to our holidays and traditions. Whether a “Friendsgiving” gathering or Christmas store to help provide for needs, we want our women to feel invited and welcome into our community.
